The Shark Race-R Pro GP is a direct copy of the helmets worn by riders in MotoGP. This helmet is basically a Shark Race-R Pro Carbon with the addition of the large aerodynamic spoiler, designed to create minimum drag in the tucked position, allowing you to get just another couple of km/h top speed out of your bike. Plus, let’s be honest, it looks insanely awesome! Constructed from a mix of carbon and aramid fibers for maximum performance on the track: extremely lightweight and resistant to both abrasion and compression. The multi-density EPS liner provides optimal impact absorption. This helmet scored 5 out of 5 at the independent SHARP helmet test. Even the chin guard, often an afterthought in regards to safety tests, is equipped with dual-density EPU for maximum shock absorption properties. The large spoiler can be ejected quickly in case of an accident thanks to the Quick Spoiler Safety System, to limit the effects of secondary shocks. Although safety and performance will always be the main aspects when designing a full-on racing helmet, the Race-R Pro GP is very comfortable helmet to wear as well. The interior is plush and sits snugly around your face, with a large neck roll to eliminate noise and keep out wind. You will also find a large chin curtain with a strap to adjust it, allowing you to easily choose between increased airflow or more comfort. Of course the entire interior of the helmet is detachable and washable. The large visor is Optical Class 1 rated for perfect vision and has been treated to prevent scratches and fogging. The visor mechanism is very easy to operate so switching between visors is a breeze! The Shark Race-R Pro GP helmet comes with a premium helmet bag and a dark smoke visor is also included.
