Description
Hero MotoCorp has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Xpulse 210 at the EICMA motorcycle show. The Xpulse 210 marks a significant evolution from its predecessor, the Xpulse 200 4V, and is positioned as a fully capable dual-sport machine, ready for both on-road and off-road adventures. Hero has been developing the Xpulse 210 for some time, and this latest model not only stays true to the Xpulse legacy but also introduces a range of upgrades aimed at enhancing performance, versatility, and rider experience.
At the heart of the Xpulse 210 is a new 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine that is capable of producing 24.6 bhp of power and 20.7 Nm of torque. This engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox, marks a shift towards more refined highway performance. The increase in displacement and the addition of a sixth gear improve its capabilities on long-distance journeys, where it can maintain higher speeds comfortably. The revised power figures, along with a sixth gear, promise a smoother, more robust power delivery across a wider rev range, making it a versatile machine for both relaxed cruising and spirited off-roading.
In terms of design, the Xpulse 210 retains the rugged aesthetic characteristic of the Xpulse lineup. It features full LED lighting, with a transparent visor that provides an aggressive look while also offering better wind protection. A 4.2-inch TFT console serves as the bike’s control center, featuring smartphone connectivity for navigation and call notifications, and a comprehensive display of essential ride information like speed, odometer, tachometer, gear position, and more. Additional touches, such as LED turn indicators, a durable tubular handlebar, and a single-piece seat, contribute to the bike’s adventure-ready setup, appealing to both off-road enthusiasts and daily riders.
