Yamaha Nepal has officially Launched the Yamaha WR 155 R in Nepal at Nada Auto Show 2024
Launched at the 2024 NADA Auto Show, the Yamaha WR 155 R is a dual-sport motorcycle that can be used for both urban commuting and off-road adventures. It has a single-cylinder, 155cc liquid-cooled engine with Yamaha’s widely recognized Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. This technology ensures a balance between power and fuel efficiency by enhancing performance across various RPM ranges. Impressively for its class, the engine produces 16.7 PS at 10,000 RPM and 14.3 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM.

The bike’s sturdy suspension system—which features a link-type monocross suspension with 215 mm of wheel travel at the back and 41 mm telescopic forks with 245 mm of wheel travel at the front—improves its off-road capabilities. Excellent pressure absorbers and stability on rough terrain are guaranteed by this setup. In addition, with an impressive ground clearance of 245 mm, the WR 155 R is capable of getting around obstacles. The motorcycle has dual-purpose knobby tires on both tarmac and dirt trails, which offer better traction on any terrain. The spoke wheels are 21 inches in the front and 18 inches in the back.
