Royal Enfield Classic 650

Royal Enfield Has Finally Launch The Classic 650

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is the brand’s latest addition to its 650cc lineup, offers timeless aesthetics with modern performance upgrades. This model is designed to echo the look and feel of the Classic 350 but packs in a more potent engine and enhanced technology. Visually, it stays true to Royal Enfield’s vintage appeal, showcasing classic elements like a circular headlamp and tail lamp, along with a minimalist fuel tank that emphasizes its broad-chested, upright riding stance. This retro-inspired styling is paired with modern conveniences, likely including LED lighting and a suite of optional accessories for customization.

Under the hood, the Classic 650 shares its robust 649cc parallel-twin engine with the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650, ensuring a consistent 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm torque output. This engine, mated to a smooth six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, provides ample power and seamless shifting, ideal for both city and highway cruising. The Classic 650 is built on a tubular spine chassis shared with the Super Meteor and Shotgun models, offering enhanced stability and handling thanks to a carefully designed headstock, rake, and trail geometry.

A key upgrade is its suspension system: unlike the 41mm front forks found on the Interceptor, the Classic 650 boasts a set of 43mm Showa telescopic front forks, uniquely tuned to improve handling on various terrains while maintaining a vintage feel. The rear suspension comprises dual springs, similar to the Shotgun’s, but specifically tuned for the Classic 650 to provide a balanced, comfortable ride.

The Classic 650 also integrates an 18-inch spoke wheel setup, resembling the Classic 350’s design, which complements its retro look while ensuring strong road grip. One of its standout ergonomic features is its single factory-fitted seat, set at an accessible 800mm seat height, similar to the Interceptor’s. Riders can opt for a pillion seat, mountable via a sub-frame reminiscent of the Shotgun, for enhanced passenger convenience.
