KTM’s Global Expansion Reaches India with New High-Performance Models
KTM, Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, has announced a major expansion of its Indian portfolio with the launch of 10 internationally acclaimed motorcycles across four distinctive segments. This marks the third phase of KTM’s successful partnership with Bajaj Auto, which has played a crucial role in establishing the brand’s strong presence in India over the past decade. The expansion aims to bring KTM’s global range to Indian enthusiasts, further enhancing its reputation for high-performance motorcycles.
KTM’s journey in India began in 2012 with the introduction of a premium lineup of motorcycles in the 200cc to 390cc segment, including both Naked and Supersport models. Alongside these launches, KTM rapidly built an extensive sales and service network, making its motorcycles accessible to a wider audience. In 2020, the brand expanded its offerings with the KTM ADVENTURE series, catering to off-road and long-distance touring riders. KTM also introduced the Pro-XP program, designed to provide riders with specialized experiences across Adventure, off-road, and Tarmac categories.

Now, in its latest expansion phase, KTM has introduced a range of globally renowned models in India. The Naked segment now includes the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 890 DUKE R, which deliver the ultimate in aggressive, high-performance street riding. For adventure enthusiasts, KTM has launched the KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE S and KTM 890 ADVENTURE R, built for extreme long-distance touring and off-road capability. The Enduro segment welcomes the KTM 350 EXC-F, a high-performance machine tailored for serious off-road riders. In the Motocross category, KTM now offers the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F for professional racers, along with the KTM 85 SX, KTM 65 SX, and KTM 50 SX, designed for young racers aiming to develop their skills in competitive motocross.
To support this expanded lineup, KTM is enhancing its retail and service infrastructure in India. The brand is establishing flagship stores in seven major cities—Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. These stores will not only showcase the latest KTM motorcycles but also offer an extensive range of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear, ensuring riders have access to premium accessories and gear. Additionally, KTM is upgrading its workshops with specialized service capabilities to cater to the full range of KTM bikes, providing customers with a superior ownership experience. With this expansion, KTM is set to redefine the motorcycling landscape in India, offering a comprehensive lineup that meets the needs of riders across various segments.
