Ather Energy has recently revealed the highly awaited Ather 450 Apex Special Edition, marking a decade of Ather innovations. Vaidya Energy, the authorized distributor of Ather scooters in Nepal, is gearing up to introduce the special edition of the Ather 450 Apex in Nepal soon. While the design of the 450X remains unchanged, the latest model features a Special Edition color with a transparent section for added visual appeal. It also incorporates an upgraded motor, increased top speed, and introduces the new Wrap+ riding mode.
The Ather 450 Apex is powered by a 7.0kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, generating a maximum power of 7kW and a maximum torque of 26Nm. With a 3.7kWh Lithium-Ion battery, it charges rapidly from 0% to 80% in just 4 hours and 30 minutes, providing a certified range of 157 kilometers. The motor power has been enhanced from 6.4kW to 7.0kW, resulting in an impressive top speed of 100 km/h, and faster acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h, thanks to the dynamic Wrap Plus mode.
Notably, the Ather 450 Apex Special Edition prioritizes safety with a dual-disc braking system, incorporating Regenerative Braking and a Combined Braking System. It introduces the Magic Twist feature, allowing riders to
accelerate by turning the throttle anti-clockwise and brake by turning it clockwise, adding a unique and intuitive twist to the scooter’s controls. Suspension duties are managed with a Telescopic Fork at the front and a symmetrically mounted Progressive Monoshock at the rear, along with various Riding Modes.
Setting itself apart with cutting-edge technology, the Ather 450 Apex Special Edition is loaded with advanced features, including an LED headlamp, LED front DRLs, side indicators, side stand sensors, auto indicator cut-off, document storage, emergency stop signal, Wrap Plus Riding Mode, Indium Blue color, Magic Twist, and Belt-Drive Protector. The 7-inch TFT touchscreen display allows riders to access features such as navigation, real-time vehicle diagnostics, and over-the-air updates. Additional advanced features include Google Maps integration, 4G connectivity, AtherSTACK 5 OTA upgrades, park assist, and auto hold.
