2025 KTM 390 SMC R Unveil At EICMA 2024
KTM is preparing to launch three exciting new motorcycles at the EICMA show this year, all built around the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, LC4c engine that powers the new 390 Duke. The motor makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque and paired with a six-speed gearbox. One of the standout models is the KTM 390 SMC R a supermoto-inspired bike that combines elements from both off-road and street motorcycles. It will use the same robust chassis, subframe, and swingarm as the upcoming 390 Adventure, ensuring it can handle tough conditions while providing stability. However, what sets this model apart is its 17-inch wheels and tires, borrowed from the Duke, which makes it more agile and suited for city streets and tight corners. The bike will feature long-travel adjustable suspension, giving it the ability to absorb shocks on uneven terrains while offering a comfortable ride.
In terms of technology, KTM is equipping the bike with advanced riding aids for a superior experience. One of the highlights is a bi-directional quickshifter, allowing the rider to shift gears smoothly without using the clutch, both for upshifts and downshifts. This feature, combined with other electronic safety aids, enhances rider control and makes the bike adaptable for various riding conditions. The high seat height and the long, narrow supermoto-style seat provide an aggressive riding position, making the bike ideal for riders who want precision handling, whether they’re navigating city streets or taking on more challenging terrains. With its blend of performance, comfort, and cutting-edge technology, this new KTM promises to be a versatile and thrilling option for motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Expected Price Of 2025 KTM 390 SMC R is NRs. 10,49,900/-
