Yamaha Nepal has officially launched the MT 15 V2 at NRs. 549,900/-
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 has recently been launched in Nepal, capturing the attention of motorcycle enthusiasts with its blend of aggressive design and advanced features . The MT 15 V2’s design continues to reflect Yamaha’s signature streetfighter aesthetics, characterized by a sharp, angular body, a muscular fuel tank, and a minimalistic tail section. One of the most powerful 150cc motorcycles on the market, this latest model has a 155.1cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.04 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine features Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, which increases low-end torque for city riding and high-end power for enhanced performance. This system provides optimal power delivery throughout a range of engine speeds.
One of the MT 15 V2’s primary features is its suspension system, which includes USD (upside-down) forks in the front and a linked-type monocross suspension with a new upgrade of Aluminium Swingarm in the rear. This set-up offers a more balanced and smooth ride, especially when riding tight turns or over rough terrain. The addition of a dual-channel ABS system, which provides enhanced control during braking, further enhances safety. With a range of about 40–45 km/l, the MT 15 V2 is an excellent option for daily travel in addition to being a performance-focused vehicle.
The motorcycle has an instrument cluster that is fully digital and shows every important detail at a glance. Its LED headlamps and taillights enhance visibility in addition to contributing to its futuristic appearance.

With a box type swingarm in the back and a standard telescopic fork up at front, the MT 15’s first version was simple. The bike had an aggressive overall design, but it lacked a few of the premium features seen on the V2, like the USD (upside-down) front forks, which greatly enhance handling and give the bike a more robust look. The V2 has premium features like Y-Connect, a Sidestand engine cut-off button, phone battery level status, upgraded switchgear, and nicer materials throughout the bike in addition to upgrading the instrument cluster for better visibility.
The Yamaha MT-15 V2 is priced at NRs. 549,900/-, which is a wonderful deal considering all of the improvements and additional features it has.
In addition to new features and technological advancements, the Yamaha MT-15 V2 will get an updated look with several new color options.
