Triumph Thruxton 400

New 400cc segment motorcycles for Triumph was spotted testing recently. The New Triumph Thruxton 400 is gonna be their Neo-Retro Cafe-Racer Motorcycle.

Triumph Motorcycles seems ready to enter the 400cc segment following the release of their Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X motorcycles. The Triumph Thruxton 400, their planned neo-retro cafe racer motorcycle, was recently spotted under testing. The motorcycles will be based on the Speed 400, nonetheless they will have some cosmetic upgrades like: clip-on handlebars and a retro headlight faring.

The 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine powering the Thruxton 400, which is based on the Triumph Speed 400, will generate 40 PS of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. It is supported by a bolt-on rear subframe and a steel perimeter frame that provide durability as well as flexibility. For an ideal balance between comfort and excellent handling, the suspension setup features 43mm upside-down (USD) front forks and a pre-load adjustable rear monoshock. Its 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes and dual-channel ABS provide outstanding stopping power. Its practicality is increased by modern features including a circular LED headlamp, a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, and switchable traction control. With its timeless design and advanced features, the Speed 400 opens the way for Triumph’s 400cc lineup, which will include the soon-to-be Thruxton 400 version.

Riders seeking a blend of recollections styling and modern performance are likely to find the Thruxton attractive because to its more classic café racer design, premium features, and maybe differently tuned engine than the Speed 400.
