Benelli 302s:

The Benelli 302S is the evolution of the popular Benelli TNT300 and is powered by the familiar 300 cc fuel injected liquid cooled eight valve parallel twin that produces 30 PS max power at 11000 rpm and 25.6 Nm max torque at 9750 rpm that’s paired to a 6 speed transmission. The kerb weight of the bike is 209 Kg and it has a tank capacity of 16 liters.

The 302S sits on a tubular steel trellis frame that’s suspended on 41 mm upside down telescopic forks up front (135mm travel) and a rear monoshock(45mm travel). It comes equipped with 120/70 section R17 tyre at the front and a 160/60 section R17 tyre at the rear. Braking duties are taken by a dual disc setup at the front and a disc at the rear as well.

The street fighter design of the bike is complimented by minimal bodywork, a tall handlebar and an upright seating position. The bike has a seat height of 795 mm and a ground clearance of 140 mm. The 302S has LED DRLs along with a projector headlamp as well as LED tail lamps and indicators. An asymmetrical colored TFT instrument console provides all the necessary information in a concise manner. The engine of the 302S produces one of the best sounds of any parallel twin engine in the world and gives quite the riding experience.

BMW G310R:

The baby BMW is powered by a rear inclined 313 cc, four valve, liquid cooled fuel injected single producing 34 hp max power at 9250 rpm and 28 Nm max torque at 7500 rpm. The bike has a kerb weight of 158.5 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 11 liter. The G310 R looks quite muscular with a hefty tank and a neatly integrated fairing. The BS6 version of the bike gets LED headlamps as well as taillamp as standard.

The G310 R sits on a tubular space frame while suspension duties are handled by a pair of 1.6 inch thick upside down forks at the front and a spring preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. As a category first, the bike is equipped with a Ride by Wire system while a slipper clutch has also been adopted for rapid and safe downshifts. A pair of 17 inch wheels with 110/70 tyre front and 150/60 tyre at the rear.

The bike comes with with a 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with dual channel ABS as standard. Also helpful are the adjustable brake and clutch levers. The G310 R gets a fully digital LCD screen and not a colored TFT dash. The bike has a seat height set at 785 mm. The BMW G310R comes in 3 beautiful color schemes. The BMW 310R with all the equipment and feature looks to be a very fun naked bike.

KTM RC390 New:

The updated KTM RC 390 for 2022 is powered by a  373 cc four valve liquid cooled fuel injected single that produces 43 PS peak power and a peak torque of 35 Nm that’s mated to a 6 speed gearbox which also includes a PASC anti hopping clutch(slipper clutch). The kerb weight of the bike is 172 Kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 13.7 liters.

Chassis-wise, the steel trellis frame has been updated to be lighter than before and so is the bolt on subframe that is now more visible with lesser bodywork. A 320 mm unit upfront and 230mm rear disc brakes offer plenty of stopping power. The upside down forks at rev front and preload adjustable rear monoshock WP suspension setup is sadly not fully adjustable. The committed riding position is now made rider friendly with an inclusion of adjustable clip-ons that sit 15 mm higher.

The body work and tall windscreen are also updates that have made the RC 390 more aerodynamic. As The wheels, disc brake and final drive sprocket are all lighter than before as well. A full TFT dash borrowed from the Duke 390 along with full LED lighting system is even more alluring. The new RC is even more rider friendly and refined version of what already was a capable and fun bike

Honda CRF Rally300:

The 300 Rally is an upgraded version of the globally popular 250 Rally with a slight improvements in the engine and chassis. It gets a 286 cc, four valve, liquid cooled fuel injected single that makes 27 PS peak power at 8500 rpm and 26.6 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. It’s paired to a 6 speed gearbox which has also been revised from the CRF250 Rally. The kerb weight of the bike is 153 Kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 12.8 liters.

The steel perimeter chassis has been tweaked and the changes in the body panels have made the 300 Rally lighter. The bike gets 21 inch wheel at the front and 18 inch wheel at the rear. Braking power is provided by a 296 mm front and a 220 mm rear disc brake. The seat height is at 885 mm and it has a ground clearance of 285 mm.

The 300 rally’s body panels and the tall windscreen along with the upright ergonomics protects the rider from windblasts on the highway. The addition of a slipper clutch helps with rapid downshifting and light clutch pull. The CRF300 Rally also gets an all digital dash and also has a button on the dash to turn off the rear ABS. The tall gearing on the top(6th) gear also keeps engine stresses down. The CRF300 Rally with its off roading abilities and smooth engine seems like its ready to take on any kind of roads that may come it’s way.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650:

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a retro  design inspired bike powered by a BS6 compliant 647.9 cc air/oil cooled fuel injected parallel twin that puts out 47 PS of max power and 52 Nm of max torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox that also has got a slipper clutch. The kerb weight of the bike is 202 kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 13.7 liters.

The Interceptor 650 uses a dual cradle frame supported by telescopic front forks and dual gas charged rear shock absorbers. In terms of braking, the bike gets a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear along with a dual channel ABS system for stopping the bike. The bike rides on 18 inch spoked rims front and back with 100/90 and 130/70 section tyres respectively.

The features and equipment’s on the Interceptor are minimalist with the bien sporting a twin pod instrument console showing the speed and engine speed along with a neatly tucked digital fuel meter. A halogen headlamp, taillamp and turn signals are all part of the retro theme of the bike. The bike has a seat height of 804 mm and a ground clearance of 174 mm. The Interceptor 650 with its classic looks, smooth, torquey engine and simplistic features definitely draws attention and increases the cool quotient.
